Putting on a Production

Putting on a production is a tactic used to conceal a high margin of profit. This is found in small businesses, corporations and public works projects. When a local govenment has made a sweetheart deal with a contractor the profits can be immense. The contractor doing his or her part saturates the construction site with storage containers and equipment and then drags the work out many times the actual time it would take to complet the job. The ethical issue here is the concealment of facts concerning of the actual cost and length of construction.
