Jungle Ethics Jungle ethics have evolved over thousands of years. Considerable blood has be shed over the collision of the well-to-do and less affluent people. Here the affluent are masters and grand masters of "appearances." Their personal and professional life appears impeccable. The tools of these predators , to name two, are cunning and "constructive provocation." A careful manipulation of the clients emotions produces an outrage that impairs reasoning and the inspiration of emotions that make the client look mentally unbalanced. Violence, can and sometimes does, result from the exploitation of clients emotions. (note: clients also use this tactic against business people.). Predators sometimes go to far and are injured or killed. Sometimes, if it is a contractor that is preyed upon they destroy the property they are working in a way their actions can be plausibly denied. If the contractor"s clients are into illegal activities of any kind the have an ethical (i.e. jungle ethics) advantage over there client who is trying to defraud them using "appearances" as a weapon. For an educated person to know what jungle ethics is they must know what mathematical game theory is. In game theory if a good and well-intending person is being attacked by a predator they first show goodwill. If they repeatedly give an unscrupulous person a tactical advantage they must immediately charge their strategy to a tit-for-tat strategy. Otherwise, they are more than likely to lose the battle. If one party does not honor their commitments the other is not required to do so in kind. When a business person or client is out maneuvered by the clever manipulation of "appearances" it is academic that they will win the war by conventional means. Underclass people thus resort to more illegal and violence means to get their point across. An upward Noble business person cleverly gets a carpenter to build a house for him. In the end the carpenter seeing he will be outmaneuvered by appearances has several options. It happens when this occurs that the carpenter will violently slam the business person up against the wall and threatens their life knowing how to plausibly deny killing the person and spend only a few years in prison. Confronted with real violent from the carpenter and his friends the business person sees there is no way out and pays. Or, the contractor simply could tell the business person they will turn them into the inspections department and filed a claim with the State for back wages and report a violation of of workman compensation rules. Here, the perpetrator is over their heads in criminal behaviors themselves and in the end are outmaneuvered by a carpenter with a criminal past. This is why being ethical is so important because it removes a tactical advantage from cunning predators. A more point example of jungle ethics is a upper middl/*e class person hitting on the girl friend of a drug dealer in a rough neighborhood. The dealer being on his own turf beats the offender to a pulp. While the law might say it is illegal to beat a person the amorous individual knows or should know a man whose romantic life is being impinged by another will fight back violently in certain cases. Appearances here do not look good for the upper middle class person. They were obviously in the neighborhood looking for drugs. They were involved in an illegal activity and they should of know the rules change when in rough neighborhoods. Jungle ethics say, if you one someone elses turf, respect their rules. |
