Hotshot
Hotshot: An abusive client or businessperson; a fast thinking, fast-talking person who overpowers you with their will.. This may be true in certain circumstances but in argumentation, polemic devices are often used which frames the opponent in an awkward position. They may be right but they are rude and in the process exploit people’s emotions. When a client is dealing with a businessman who is a hot shot their emotions have the power to break through every objection you have, particularly complaints about a high bill. Not only are hotshots annoying they are intimidating. Golden Boy: This is a kinder gentler variant on the hotshot, generally found in administrative systems of large businesses. The Golden Boy works easily with complex issues reducing them to simple statements. Their reasoning is fairly enlightened but if the person whom they are dealing with has a valid and very reasoned argument in return the Golden Boy will override their reasoning. Here, overpowering is at work. If significant amounts of money are involved the ethical nature of the transaction comes into question. The term "force of personality" is important here to analyze the situation. There people are remarkable in the sense they have an identifiable personality or charisma. Note:
