Deal Breaker

The point in a business transaction where an agreement is infringed on, or broken. It is an important event to note because the slightest infringement that is not contested can become a powerful lever in the hands of a dishonest person to alter the terms of an agreement again and again. In a marriage a deal breaker might be the point in time when the husband goes out with another woman. This is a very clear point in a transaction and it is the best time to back out of a deal for an honest person.
